Video #9 for Sanity Project 2026
Speaking of division, I've decided to open these video posts to comments. Patsy and I were discussing whether it should be for all subscribers or paid. We want accessibility regardless of financial means, and we also want some kind of boundary. You see, there are quite a few trolls who frequent the comments section and pour forth poison: personal attacks on other commenters, derision, mockery, and dehumanizing and degrading remarks that serve no constructive purpose and make people feel unsafe. I am fine with criticism of ideas and arguments. It is healthy. I am even OK with questioning of my motives and psychology. I am NOT OK with derision and cruelty. There is already too much poison in public discourse, and I don't want people to find more of it under my Substack posts. So, what we have decided to do, is to restrict comments to paid subscribers, while giving free upgrades to anyone who sincerely asks. If money is tight, please ask! Do not hesitate!
