I want add also that part of the process should be deep grief work and an acknowledgment of all the pain that has been inflicted.

Hi Charles,

The genocide in Gaza is a tip of a massive iceberg. Some deeper layers include a general colonial approach to non-western regions of the globe, which asserts itself not just through land grab and coups and military occupation, but advertisements, economical models, educational models, culture theft... if we address the tip of the iceberg as if the rest of it doesn't exist, we might be breeding more tips with an illusion of peace making.

To avoid vengeance should not mean to stay open to be exploited in many subtle ways. One example of the general existence of Israel in our region, their intelligence service in alignment with it's western allies have been investing in breaking down the muslim countries in the region into "manageable" pieces. It is already executed for Iraq and Syria, and Iran and Turkey have been in line. This happens through supporting internal groups who are basically fashists (extremists) in thought and weakening the moderate and wise unifying voices.

When you call for a peace plan, as beautiful and comprehensive as this, shouldn't that at least address one layer below the tip of the iceberg, which is a sectarian way of deep manipulation of US and its colonial allies to stop?
