Hi Charles. I was recommended your work by someone I was explaining my intention to change the world to and your ideas are a wonderful articulation of many of mine. I plan on standing as MP in the UK (because anyone can here with just £500 and 10 votes) on a radical platform of decentralisation and peace which you can read a little of at www.cmwyl.com if you’d like to help (moral support or advice very welcome) because right now it’s just me against the UK parliamentary system! Minimally aggressive autonomy and geographically defined community is my solution. Feed clothe and house ourselves without recourse to external authority. No land ownership, no home ownership as neither is necessary. Lifelong stewardship instead. Free speech, equal trade, free movement for a free humanity. Thanks.

I listened and took notes. So uplifting! Lots of fresh insights, even though I believe I have all of your books, Charles. I'm posting QUOTES on Facebook. Such an important message "for such a time as this."

What a splendid idea. Thanks!

I'm totally frustrated by FB's censoring activities but quotes from Charles might actually be above and beyond the level of comprehension of FB bots... :-D

I did think the interviewer was kind of funny. I have seen him doing those sort of sales pitch videos for The Shift Network. He was trying to do his normal thing but struggled in a few spots. Funniest line was when Charles was saying something about trying to do a sales pitch and the interviewer replied that Charles was the farthest from a sales pitch, like EVER. Yes, very true. It was not a typical infomercial which those sort of things tend to be. It was deep and worth relistening to a few times.

*I watched another of the free videos - the interviewer is the founder of the site actually. Maybe he also started The Shift Network later too. It is similar in format. I am interested in the longer courses but have spent a lot of money lately.

That was great Charles, thanks! I needed some spiritual healing today.

Hi Charles, I love reading and listening to your thoughts and glad you're including Sami Awad next time. I can recommend two amazing peace activist women to also interview, one Israeli, one Palestinian from Gaza who have become friends. I can share an interview that I made with them on Zoom for 50 or so people. If you could spread their dynamic and courageous presences even further, that would be wonderful. Thanks for considering it. Karen

hi Karen - I would love to see this interview if you are willing to share this link - just this week Sami Awad, Aiida Shibli and Suleiman Khatib ... are in a dialogue with jeremy Lent on the Deep Transformation Network, (link here https://deeptransformation.network/posts/the-palestinian-experience-an-invitation-to-open-hearted-listening) and looking to expand that conversation out after this event .... it would be great to listen in

I'd like to see it but have a work commitment at that time on Tuesday.

Will it be recorded?

Hi Karen! Wouldn't you be willing to share a link to that interview here, or at least mention the names of those two women, so that people can look them up and get to know them?

I'm not sure how Substack works. I receive periodic email notices from Eisenstein and I was trying to contact him about these two women. If I put their names in this comment box, who sees them? Thanks for advising me, Saskia

.

Whoever happens to read them. That might not be the Substack author. It varies, some do, and some don't.

Jennifer answered your question well. I'd think a way to more directly contact Charles would be through the contact form on his website, charleseisenstein.org. Not that he reads everything there, but his team will inform him when deemed appropriate.

Nevertheless, in these times the cosmic algorithms are doing a great job in spreading information exactly where it needs to go. Unless the women must be shielded, putting their names out here in the comments could very well lead to more support for their message through as yet unspecified channels.

Hello Charles there is a wonderful German movie that creatively illustrates how we live in the story of separation. It is poignant and thought-provoking. Its English title is "I'm Your Man". Do you know it?

Interesting as far as o was able to watch, but the video kept interupting to show a screen advertising the related courses while the sound carried on. It was impossible to get back to the picture without exiting and restarting and then having to scroll through the timeline to find the point at which you lost it.

Also the interviewer was a bit "american" for my english cultural tastes.

So zero points for presentation and I'm afraid I gave up after the 3rd interuption about half way through.

Essentially it seems what you are talking about was based on the territory covered by Capra & Luisi in The Systems View of Life, so I would have been intrigued to see where you were taking it. What I heard struck a lot of good chords, so pity about the techical issues.

Are you having work done on your house? Or were the builder noises off from the street outside?
