Live in Salt Lake City, plus other places, words, and thoughts
Just want to let you know about two in-person events I haven’t announced yet, plus a ton of online stuff and new podcasts. I’ve been doing a ton of podcasts around the launch of my book, although usually I end up talking about other topics. I’ll list some recent ones in a minute.
First I want to tell you about an event I’ll be speaking live in Salt Lake City on September 11. I’ve been especially excited about it, because first, I’ll be collaborating with a fantastic improvisational violinist, Joseph Arnold, for the storytelling phase of my presentation/performance. Even more exciting is that I’ll be opening for one of my favorite bands ever, the Sufi group Fanna Fi Allah. They are next level. The event is at an ecstatic dance venue, and yes, there will be dancing. Tickets and info here.
On September 5 I’ll be at an festive event in New Hampshire, the Garden Fest at The Hive. Tickets and info here. Lots of great music and speakers.
OK, and now for some recent podcasts. There are a lot. Maybe pick one at random? I have a few more podcasts in the next week, then I am taking the rest of the month off from speaking to do some creative work. I have one or two more posts scheduled, but it will be sparse for a while. I am barely restraining myself from telling you about my Tao Te Ching project. OK, that’s the only hint you get for now.
Post Woke Podcast with Mickey Z. Short and packed with good stuff.
Back to The Future Podcast with Victor Saadia.
The Kyle Kingsbury Podcast. I love this guy. Former UFC fighter with one of the kindest, friendliest smiles I’ve ever seen.
Mad River Valley TV with Rob Williams: Exploring the Coronation.
Sacred Sons Podcast with Adam Jackson. One of my favorite interviews of the year.
What Matters Most podcast with Paul Samuel Dolman. Another great one.
Word Up with Dani Katz - went live on 7/27. First half here, second I think is behind a paywall.
The Mark Divine Show. I wasn’t quite at my best for this one.
Endless Vital Activity Podcast with David Johnston. Just went live today.
And last, but not at all least, the Holistic OBGYN podcast, with Nathan Riley, MD. Great mutual amplification here.
