Thanks for this Charles, succinct and penetrating as always. There are sections I will pull out to use in my communications.

RE: solutions, I’m reminded of the joke about the guy who loses his car keys at night. A friend stops to help him and asks, “So you lost them right around here?” The guy replies, “Oh no, I lost them over there… but the light is better here.”

The original and persisting problem is our disconnection from universal intelligence (by whatever name). We can’t solve that by searching for solutions elsewhere. God, or “Love," my naming preference, is already coordinating everything in the cosmos. I think it/he/she/whatever can manage to clean up human problems, if there were only some kind of instrument for accurate expression. Hmm, sounds like a job for… ME! Me, you, and everyone… exactly what we humans were designed for.

You know the quote: “We can’t solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.” Einstein was right. New thinking, for me, is putting my connection with the divine first so I'm properly guided. The priority is who I am, not what I know or what I do. Here’s the mantra I recently developed that is steering my daily meditations to deepen my connection with the guidance essential for my contributions during this time of war:

I am opening to God.

God is opening my heart.

My heart is overflowing with Love.

Love is creating my life.

The value of discussions about evil cannot be overstated.

I walked the spiritual path for 40 years, utterly devoted to the Cult of Positivity, all thoughts about "evil" put long behind me. And then the global Covid debacle blew the lid off my complacency. All the points Charles makes in this excellent essay (and then some) added up to a brutal awakening that sent me on a deep dive researching the nature of evil and its historical presence on this planet.

Much to my surprise, I discovered that every culture on Earth has a name for the omnipresent yet invisible anti-life Force that has bedeviled humanity for eons: The Archons, Beelzebub, AshShaytān, wetiko, windingo, antimimos, e'epa, Satan, to name only a few. In modern parlance, it's mind parasites.

Shamans, medicine men and women and priests consciously deal with this Presence all the time. I've done ceremony with many native shamans in the Amazon jungles of Peru and Ecuador, as well as the American Southwest. They all acknowledge and deal with these astral beings and their degrading and penetrative influences on the human psyche on a daily basis.

As I read up on the subject, I realized that this etheric Intelligence is what most spiritual traditions recognize as negative astral forces—demons, if you will. And, as I got a handle on its actual nature (which is slippery at best), I realized I'd had encounters with this anti-life Force on and off my whole life—mostly in dream states and various meditations.

Which, of course, is the problem.

Because this astral Intelligence resides in non-physical "form," showing up in liminal states of consciousness, it is easily missed and even more easily dismissed. And yet, isn't our seeming inability to take this Presence seriously a possible reason for humanity being so desperately lost and confused—so filled with self-hatred and blame? Isn't it possible comfortable skepticism is a telltale sign this Intelligence's long-term agenda of infiltrating and subverting human consciousness has been successful?

I know how bizarre and superstitious this sounds. And yet the "modern" perspective which rejects the reality of beings such as the Archons out of hand doesn't diminish the truth of their historical and modern-day presence—or their negative impact—in the slightest.

Religious, spiritual and cultural ideologies do an excellent job of castrating evil in one way or another, fundamentally making it show up as "not so bad." For example, some forms of Christianity associate evil with telling a lie or having a baby out of wedlock. Which effectively diminishes the whole concept. Spirituality rebounds by seeing the label "evil" as an unnecessarily harsh judgment, positing that we need only focus upon the "Light" to find our way to heaven and better days for all.

But then (like me) you meet a woman who was raised in a New Age cult, who, by day, was raised to focus on the "Light," while by night her parents took her to Satanic rituals where she was tortured and gang raped at age five until her personality fractured and compartmentalized to the point where she routinely performed infanticide.

What do you do with that?

After long study and contemplation, at this point I now define evil as a consciousness devoid of love, devoid of all respect for life, devoid of beauty, grace, gentleness and compassion; a consciousness characterized by a lust for power, control and dominance that can mentally insinuate itself into the human psyche and strongly influence it to the ultimate point of takeover known as "possession."

This kind of "takeover" goes a long way toward explaining the overall state of human affairs, as well as many individual social issues, from the introduction of highly damaging religious concepts like Original Sin to elitist agendas like Covid and The Great Reset. Let's just briefly look at Original Sin to see what I mean.

The basic concept of inherent evil was introduced by a repentant Augustine of Hippo (354-430 AD). Despite the fact that his mother was a devout Christian, Augustine spent much of his early life as a sexual reprobate and atheist until he was introduced to the religious philosophy known as Manichaeism—a teaching that posited that every person is born into sin merely by the fact of being physical. And yet where did this idea come from?

Historians recount that Mani, the Babylonian prophet (216 AD), apparently arrived at this view because he was coached into it by what he called his "other self"—an invisible "spirit" that talked to him. Spirit or Archon? We'll never know. But the fact that the concept of Original Sin—one of the most insidious and corrosive ideas ever introduced to humanity—was proposed by some disembodied "voice" is indeed suspect. And the fact that a guilt-ridden Augustine picked up the concept and ran with it as a way to explain and excuse his own sinful youth is suspect as well.

Which brings me to more modern times. I'm not going to get into second guessing the psychological health of people such as Klaus Schwab, Bill Gates and the rest of their ilk, or their susceptibility to Archonic influence. But according to some psychological studies, the super-rich, as a group, can be characterized by three personality traits: Machiavellianism, psychopathy and narcissism—what psychologists call the “Dark Triad” of malevolent characteristics involving self-promotion, duplicity, aggressiveness and emotional coldness.

Insatiability and a lust for power, control and dominance are the top traits of this Dark Triad, which, historically, are primary characteristics of the Archons, the achingly empty, hungry astral "ghosts" that populate thousands of years of spiritual and shamanic lore. Coincidence? I don't think so.

To wrap this commentary up, I suspect the reasons we tend to dismiss any hint of evil as its own separate reality is because 1) We're programmed to believe this degenerate, anti-life Force originates within us, so we don't spend any time searching for outside causes for our spiritual, moral and social malaise; 2) Nobody likes to appear "unmodern" and superstitious; 3) It's scary thinking that evil as a Presence actually exists, and few people want to look at "bad stuff" except in the movies; 4) These spiritless beings have infiltrated human consciousness to such a degree that we have created, quite literally, a thought matrix of lies—a false reality for us to live in that keeps us fundamentally blind, quiescent and cooperative with the Archons' ultimate agenda: human enslavement. Last, but not least, 5) It seems impossible that (some) heads of state, blue bloods, global financial leaders, heads of corporate media conglomerates and NGOs such as the World Economic Forum could possibly be sufficiently seduced by the lure of absolute power, control and dominance as to become minions of a dark Force, ultimately implementing the betrayal of all of humanity.

It sounds like a movie plot. And yet ... isn't that what life feels like lately? Like we're all living in a B Grade horror film, the plot of which we've seen too many times?

Anyway—The way out is NOT to do battle with these beings. The way out is seeing what they are and seeing that their consciousness is NOT ours. Humans are originally beings of pure love—a high frequency consciousness we truly cannot fathom. That's the foundation of this universe. We need to get ourselves disentangled from their low-frequency matrix and back on our own wavelength. That's the doorway out.

Lots more to talk about but no room! Thanks Charles for your wonderful thoughts and this forum!

Very thoughtful deep dive here! It gives me the sense that it is the unawareness of repetitive thought patterns, getting fixated on loops of the mind and the stories we latch upon as real, that allow us to enter a state that lacks agency, free will, and collaboration with the rest of life- a casting out of the garden. An emptiness that could be known as evil. And when those stories are latched onto and carried into the living world, they disrupt the natural flow of the miraculous. And to be clear, the source of those repetitive thought patterns, etc may indeed not originate within us, but be of a force that roams.

Hi Marie - Yes, repetitive thought patterns we identify with indeed take us "out of the Garden" of our true selves. Many—perhaps even most—of these thought patterns are programs that form what I call a "matrix" —a deliberately fabricated reality/mindset that resonates to a low-level vibratory frequency of consciousness that endlessly cycles through thoughts/experiences of pain, suffering, abuse, victimization etc. Personally I wouldn't label the emptiness that results from this absorption into the false matrix as "evil" per se. But rather one of many sad effects that arise when we lose track of our innate purity and goodness.

Thank you Charles. I look forward to seeing how you expand on the power/evil relationship next post.

The only point I challenge is when you say that Covid crimes are "unexceptional." Seems to me that the worldwide nature of it is exceptional.

As to the nature of evil, Paul Levy suggests, following Jung, that Satan is a secret agent for God sent to awaken us from our coma. Since God is everything, there's one thing God can't do: create something that is not God.

Separation from our true self, the universe and God (Infinite Love) allows evil to flourish.

Love on,

John

I am so sorry Cate for what you have been through. Your points are all correct. The homosapien brain will avoid, dismiss or justify this kind of evil so the body can survive. When it cannot, it disassociates. This biological phenomena is our achilles heel that has been exploited since the beginning. Waking up is two fold - overcoming this ignorance and doing something about it. Many will truly benefit from your story no matter how abhorrent. I am sorry. I hope you can find peace through this work.

This may sound very simplistic because it is. There is no such thing as Evil as there is no such thing as Good. Good and Evil are on the same spectrum. Both are aspects of the duality of humanness, and we have the capacity for both in infinite form. Hence the world and our species in its current state. Once we realize and accept that our being Good or Evil has nothing at all to do with a deity or other being, we can begin to alchemize and transcend them both. Evil and good are products of ego. In the frequency of Divine Love, Divine Consciousness or Divine Essence, these polarities do not exist. Can you ‘tap into’ negative energy? Yes. Can you tap into good energy? Yes. It’s your responsibility, as is what you do with them. The human mind creates the seductive trappings of evil as well as the difficult saintly road to good. Only the human mind.

Thank you for opening that up Charles. Though I am not ready to subscribe, I do want to contribute a pov that may be of benefit to some.

I met you some 12 years ago in Bali when you came to give a talk. That talk about money was influential for me, and I have kept it with me since. I even tried it with my breathwork school and it brought fascinating results.

This letter you sent now touches me.

Although I am grateful to those who authentically reveal the distasteful causes behind much of the aggression and suffering we see today, my own focus is on finding ways that are not combattive to encourage change. The conversation needs to shift to a different level if we are to have hope that things can change, and the new discourse needs to be free of influence from the old way of seeing things. If it's not, the conversation will become contaminated by the dark heart of the human shadow and we will unconsciously invest in a repeat of what has happened in the past. Slower, faster, whatever - it all leads to the same place.

I believe there is a way, and by looking at history we can get hints as to how it can work. Think of 1989 in Berlin, when with all the stringent laws in East Germany would not permit gatherings of more than 3 people, there were no mobile phones, no social media, and no way for the resistance to communicate effectively - indeed people

Were encouraged to betray their own neigh our- their own family members! Yet a wall that had divided a country for decades fell - in one night.

How did that happen?

Fast forward to the early noughties, and we saw regimes in North Africa challenged by the populous with varying degrees of success. In Iran today we see to what lengths people will go to cry out their need for fairness.

There is something to be learned from these experiences, and indeed from earlier history and the wonderful tale of the Trojan Horse.

If the gathering of people is demonstrative, in direct opposition and confrontation, this is an invitation for the same cycles to repeat themselves.

If instead, the gathering is more subtle, non reactive or confrontational, then nobody notices.

How could this actually play out? We have seen the emergence of small communities springing up all over the world. These people, including ourselves here at Asha in italy, are seeking to create new and equitable ways of life that garners the positive values of the past, and then add to them a new level of consciousness that can sustain the future.

I am sure your own online community has grown tremendously since I last saw you. Mine has too, amd when all these communities become linked they become an extraordinary influence. Not by confrontation- but by invitation.

It works like this: if a community of say 3 million people was to approach an old paradigm business, like for example the insurance industry, or the pharmaceutical industry , and say "we have a market of 3 million people who would like to use your services, but we want to include alternative healthcare. Would you like to make a bid for our custom?" Any company would be well advised to consider this as a valid marketplace, offered on a plate, albeit with different conditions than they are accustomed to providing.

Another example: "We have 3 million people of which 100,000 have cancer and we need affordable treatment from them. Would you like to make a bid for their business?"

It doesn't take much imagination to see how change can be effected in a benign way, without unconsciously contributing to an old way of being that is hurting so many.

Just as we need to individuate from our parents in order to be independent, the independence we seek from the slow train crash we see needs to come from that same ability to turn inwards, to seek solutions that begin in our own 'inner' laboratory, so that we as people mature into caring, compassionate human beings. That way we become more attractive, and that provides an example others can be drawn to.

So enough blaming more introspection, more noticing that the goodwill in this world far outweighs the disturbed leadership we have. We simply need to gather, to keep coming i to unity, and the tipping point is not so far away. Then the other monkees will learn there is a better way.
