Hey y’all, someone impersonating me is spamming up my comments sections with replies asking commenters to text a number or go to a website. Do not do that! I am going to speak with the Substack authorities to find a solution.
You're not the only one, sadly. Same scammer has been hitting a bunch of accounts over the last few days. So far I've seen The Good Citizen, el gato malo, and Nicolas Saldo get impersonated in their comments.
I called verizon and had them block the number and they also told me to set up the contact and block the number then delete the contact from my phone so it is now blocked six ways from Sunday....Naomi Wolf is being impersonated too so there are creeps all over the place

it’s been happening to many authors...
Scamming is becoming big business in all sorts of ways. I rarely look at comments because of same or give any of my attention to the negativity
My most recent difficulty is with PayPal whom I will never use again
the sender / impersonator has this email: Charles Eisenstein <forum@mg1.substack.com>
