I was reading this post about Pluto in Aquarius (https://www.forrestastrology.com/blogs/astrology/pluto-in-aquarius-my-deepest-understanding-of-it)

and this idea really struck me:

"What if everybody is wrong, you included? Let’s remember that if humanity gets this passage right, it will shock us. The answers that are trying to emerge do not exist yet. Nobody has them. Pluto in Aquarius is about creating them. Get ready to be surprised, in other words. Get ready to realize the Earth is round when all along you’ve been thinking it was obviously flat as a pancake."

This feels very resonant to me with a lot of what Charles says. I feel it is true that we are blindly groping towards answers that nobody actually has. We are finding/creating/allowing this new story to come into being, and our effort towards that end is important.

Absolutely, there is no road map for where we are about to go. We are very creative beings that have found ourselves captive in a societal box of constructs. This Pluto in Aquarius energy is pushing us out of that box into the world of new possibilities and in my opinion, we will rise to the occasion like we have never done before, for this is humanity's time to shine.

Yes, Pluto moving into Aquarius to stay for longer than a generation brings a hard look at “the greater good” versus individual identity.

Hopefully we’ll be able to find ourselves in a aware and flexible collective that can love the individual instead of seeing the individual as a threat.

Ahh, my whole systems relaxes at that thought of finding ourselves in a loving and flexible collective. I really love that 💗✨🦋

Ok, I'm a traditional astrologer, so I'll say something and go. On a human scale, the 'ages' last 240 years each, following the Jupiter-Saturn conjunction cycles. The two planets conjunct every 20 years. We've just come out of a 240 year earth cycle - where each 20 year conjunction happened in an earth sign.

That all changed in 2020, when the conjunctions moved to the air cycle, and it started off in Aquarius, which is the most dictatorial of the signs (this is world events, not you should you have an Aquarius sun!)

Why this sucks: Saturn, sometimes called the Greater Makefic, rules Aquarius and is very happy there. Jupiter, the Greater Benefic - eh, doesn't do a lot in Aquarius, and is downright miserable sharing with Saturn. The other two conjunctions , Gemini is where Jupiter is positively downtrodden, and in Libra, Saturn wins again owing to Libra being the sign of his exaltation.

That doesn't mean life will be constant misery, but things are going to be harder and more restrictive for humans over the next two and a half centuries.

I wish I could put a more positive spin on this, and I'm sure some of you can, but mostly I'm seeing totalitarian governments, insane amounts of surveillance, as well as privation and want. Right now? Start preparing for famine, but you don't need to be an astrologer to see that.

The big chart of the year for countries happens at the spring ingress - a couple of weeks from now. I'm still staring at that one with complete incomprehension- not like me at all. Just a bit burnt out over the past few years, but I will get back to it.

Sorry for the novel. We now return you to your regularly scheduled program.

Don't give up! We're not completely powerless.

I choose to believe what Steven Forrest said, that everybody is wrong and no one has the answers. Which means you are wrong, and I'm not sorry about that ;)

I appreciate the astro-wisdom you offered here. It lines up with what I’ve heard from others. And it counters the gleeful optimism in the face of perilous realities often found in the comments on Charles’ posts. There is always room for hope - especially for the Earth’s healing after the anthropocene era ends.

I thought Uranus ruled Aquarius.

Expand full comment

That's a fairly new invention. If you're familiar with the Theme Mundi (early Greek astrology), sometimes called the chart of the world, you'll see a different, and symmetrical, picture of rulership. The sun and moon, ruling Leo and Cancer respectively, each rule one sign. Note that Leo and Cancer are side by side. Go one sign out each way, and you’ll see Mercury ruling Gemini and Virgo, then the next two signs out, Libra and Taurus, both ruled by Venus. One further gives you Scorpio and Aries, both ruled by Mars, then Sagittarius and Pisces, ruled by Jupiter, and finally Capricorn and Aquarius, both ruled by Saturn.

Which makes a lot of sense - the newer discovered planets don't knock out the older ones.

Try it - it does make a lot of sense to read it that way - it's not as if the rulerships decided to change in the 20th century, and older astrology was wrong all along.

This is an interesting comment to me, as it reminded me of an article I read a while ago about Project Looking Glass. That project (CIA related?) was a way for participants to see/predict what lies ahead in the future (not sure how it works). Apparently they were able to accurately forecast a timeline of events from the late 90’s through 2000’s/10’s but it stopped at 2020. After that it was a blank slate and they couldn’t see anything. So this ties in to what you’re saying about Pluto in Aquarius and how the future is wide open and it’s up to us how we want to create it! We know the elites have their vision, some kind of dystopian utopia surveillance state state a la NWO/Great Reset agenda. But it’s up to We the People to counter their totalitarian agenda and truly create the Beautiful World We Know is Possible. Aho!

What if it can be shown that this engagement of Pluto in Aquarius is a matter of a precise science, which has brought it to our attention after many aeons of heavenly progression? By now, of course, we consider any incursion of the planet Pluto, to be a challenging offense to blessed Aquarius, and yet it can be shown that the Earth is presently in the sign of Pisces, since 1413 AD, and this is the sign of the Christ. This is the Being we have to come to recognize today in ever-increasing measure. The Age of Aquarius will not begin for some 1500 more years, c, 3573 AD. So, you see, we have to get our shit together long before that. Today, in the Age of Pisces in 2024, we see evil forces working in ways that are abominable. The Jews would commit genocide by now because they continue to refuse the entry of Christ into Earth evolution. So, this is the test we face today. The Age of Pisces is also the sign of Christ. Aquarius awaits a future which is in the offing, and sees the defeat of Evil by the forces of the Good. It has already all been proposed, just like the Upper Room where the very first Christian Passover was held.

I would never bother people with this matter, but Charles Eisenstein has recently demonstrated that he knows something about the "Turning of the New Age." Yet, the '60's' has a predecessor when we consider the advent of the 20th century in 1900. Anthroposophical Spiritual Science in the German language. Thankfully, most of it has been translated into English for our age of world dominance. Please not let this audience continue to be the weak link, when it was predicted as early as 1913 that America's seeming brilliance at the midpoint of the 20th century against Russia was merely the showing of a house of cards. By 2024, it has been proven.

So, what comes next must be Gnosis. I see the gravitance, but it has to occur in order for Aquarius to be properly prepared for the future,. Pisces is the necessary preparation, which is today.

Throughout our history there have seen momentary "bumps" or rises in the level of conscious awareness. We saw this in the sixties, but the timing and overall environment was not conducive to its forward progression. However, we are moving into a time where there is much more fertile ground for mass consciousness to grow at an alarming pace. This does not mean that we are moving into a utopia, but instead we are going to use our innate creativity and power to start building a new world from the ground up. There are no road maps for this; it is a creative process. The chaos that we see is necessary to dissolve the old structures that no longer serve us and it propels us forward. It is humanity's time to shine.

The New Age is only coming in by our own focused effort day by day: each person has to usher in the New Age in themselves in their own heart in their own relationships and actions. There is a collective opportunity here because many many people in our world are ready to ACT RIGHT to learn how to live properly, carefully and thoughtfully. Individually we each have make great EFFORT in order for our journey here to be successful. Taking proper care of our earth, growing biodynamic foods, standing up for health freedom and nature based medicine and education and spiritual practice is the way forward. We have to stop supporting what is unwholesome and only support what is wholesome and sharing the success of this in our own lives with others to spread the seeds as real spiritual inspiration. I am a mother of 5 children ( all unvaccinated) and 6 grandchildren all unvaccinated also. Early in my 20's I began to learn about Living foods, inspired by Ann Wigmore and the Hippocrates Institute and in 1991 was deeply inspired after attending my first Vipassana mediation course and have now practiced seriously for 33 years. Rudolph Steiner and Biodynamic Farming is an amazing gift to our civilization and now we are really going to have to proliferate this knowledge and practice to counter act this war on LIFE that is going on now...YIKES! May we all move forward with love in our hearts. Even green plants can begin to grow in toxic ground...we can transform our minds, our earth...(:

I agree. But I do not see evidence of a collective will to do as you have done. Still... maybe if enough people get off their devices for long enough to tune in to their connection to the Earth, a new paradigm of will arise.

Many people thought that at 2012 the shift from the age of Pices to the age of Aquarius would be instantaneous. But that is not the way cycles work. The Picean energy was diminishing as the Aquarian energy was expanding. At 2012 there was still Picean energy in the world, albeit, becoming less and less dominant. At the same time, the Aquarian energy was increasing, and for a while they balanced each other. This is 12 years after 2012, and the Aquarian energy is now just becoming the dominant energy and increasing in intensity. Only now are we truly entering into the Age of Aquarius!

I’m Aquarius and I concur. Aquarius is all about busting up old patterns and ideas that no longer serve us anymore. It can feel unnerving and unsettling, which is probably why we’re all on edge right now and everything seems so chaotic, because it is! Even Trump fits in with the coming changes, because even though he seems divisive and an agent of chaos, he is playing his cosmic part in busting up a regime that no longer serves humanity’s best interest (if it ever did). So even though the transition can be painful and/or difficult, in the end it’s all for The Greater Good, so we must remain grounded and strong through this process. That’s my Big Picture perspective anyway…

In 4000 BC we were in Taurus (worship the bull), 2000 BC Aries (sacrifice the lamb), 0 CE Pisces (fishers of men) and now in 2000 CE Aquarius (where water finds its level). I use 2000 years for each age with 13 zodiacs (including Ophiuchus) giving us 26,000 years for a full precession of the equinoxes.

Perhaps each age needs to start with a dawn where everyone is ultimately forced to come onboard, either through final collapse of the old age or simply that everyone prefers the new age. From the way it's going I would suspect the former is more likely.

Anyway, you and your readers might like this insanely detailed lineage of characters that have shaped our last age of Pisces. Might give some insights into how we are where we are right now.... To use a coggle diagram you can left click and drag it around and right-click to use magnify glass to zoom in and out. You can also use the browser Find / Search function to search for certain words e.g. Elon Musk, King Charles, Templar, Freemason etc.

https://coggle.it/diagram/ZXeWv7GKqtj1MmOZ/t/lineage

For those that know their Parzifal (Wolfram von Eschenbach version) this also explains where the grail went after the Templars of Aragon i.e. to Thuringia, from where we see the emergence of Rosicrucianism and ultimately the German Reformation. From Frederick II, HRE in Sicily we also see the emergence of the Renaissance in Italy, and from a couple of Scottish lines (notably the protectors of the Tironensian traditions and Michael Scot, the wizard) we see Arbroath, the Scottish Enlightenment, witches and Freemasonry. We also see the influence of the Jacobites / Jacobin (who kept the Templar freedoms and tradition alive) in the French Revolution, and later the US Declaration of Independence.

The problem is now that the grail is lost and no-one is fighting for freedom anymore. For we have all willingly given in to the capitalist Deus ex Machina and the "blob" of political puppet controllers, who use our desire to consume, accumulate wealth and power, against us. For "eating the apple" only achieves emptiness and destroys our capacity to "tend the garden" and care for each other. We only have ourselves to blame that we have not entered the new age yet. For we do not (yet) value our Earth enough and we have not understood Ubuntu, let alone practise it. When we are ready, the grail will appear. Although I'm pretty damn sure it's at Torwood Broch, which also happens to be the dead centre of the Falkirk Triangle in Scotland, the planet's #1 site for UFO sightings.

Such an interesting comment! I'll just respond to one thing. You said, "Perhaps each age needs to start with a dawn where everyone is ultimately forced to come onboard, either through final collapse of the old age or simply that everyone prefers the new age. From the way it's going I would suspect the former is more likely." I think the two work together. For me personally, at least, I get a lot more curious about what a new age might offer when the old age stops working very well. That's how it is in my own life, and I think collectively it works that way too.

Expand full comment

Yes, I think I agree with that. But part of me posting that huge relationship tree is to show how a relatively small handful of people have shaped our destiny to this point. Somehow, after the loss of the grail in the 1300's, the predominantly "white western" nations valued raping and hoarding the planet's resources, and keeping them to ourselves. The invaded nations (such as South Africa) were so amused and surprised that the colonisers believed they could buy and own land. Unfortunately for the locals, the colonisers backed their beliefs with bullets, bibles, and beer.

So, until we can once more start to value Nature and our planet, and each other (meaning all species on Earth) I can't see a new age emerging. As long as we continue to be consumerist serfs, "eating the apple" of trying to accumulate wealth and power, we will continue to experience the emptiness of the current road to hell that we are on. Once the majority of us seeks instead to value productively looking after Nature and each other, to "tend the garden", then I think the road back to heaven opens up to us once more, and the grail will be set free.

The emergence of a 'New Age' doesn't happen through one decade of tie-dye--it's a deep process of transformation of consicousness that is taking place now and is accelerating. It's right on schedule, and all the seemingly 'negative' events in our political, social, and environmental life is central to the process. The light cannot emerge until the shadow and darkness is explored. We're constructing a new world; but that requires destruction as well.

Funny thing about the future - it can be hard to know what it is because it hasn’t happened yet! I am caught between two opinions about it. Either Jesus is coming back in the next 50 years or so or we will be sliding into the future predicted by John Michael Greer in his books, The Retro Future, The Ecotechnic Future, and The Long Descent. Unfortunately it looks like to me we have passed the point to have a soft landing into what Greer is describing.

The New Age and the world it represents has always been here, it never left. It is the humans who walked out of it and stepped into the world of wars and missery. The New Age suggests that that something new is coming, so as obiendent humans do, they wait, and wait, and wait. And when it doesnt come, they complain, point fingers, blame others, start protest groups, follow leaders, and execatly that keeps them away from the world that has always been there to enter......

I find these ideas of the Turning of the Age, a bit scary. It feels like we try to connect the coming of the Age to a time and place; earthbound realities. To me the words of Jesus ring in my ears, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure hidden in a field. You have to sell all you have to buy this field. And dig. And: if anyone says : here it is, the Kingdom of Heaven is here! Don't believe it. The Kingdom is hidden. It needs to be found.

I believe the Kingdom is in all our hearts, and it can only be found there, and from there become the source of blessing for this earth. The mind has to surrender to the heart over and over, ( that's the digging I believe!) and because Source, Love, resides there, real transformation can happen from there; we become who we truly already are. And, I think we don't need to get organized , Source will organize us in an amazingly beautiful way. We don't need to figure out how.

A few decades ago, in the midst of a meditation this came to me: life on earth is the dark part of the life cycle and that will never change. The good news is that it's also the sleep part of the life cycle and everything around us is essentially a nightmare we all will eventually wake from. In the midst of this dark/sleep half of the life cycle, I can choose to wake up and realize this too shall pass and will do so much more quickly if I don't resist, judge or try to change it. Instead, just keep in mind it's a temporary bad dream that doesn't invalidate and can't overcome the dominant, awakened reality. I became a lot more settled when I realized and accepted this perspective.
