This isn’t the Orwell essay, I’ll post that tomorrow or Thursday. Quite the opposite: this is to announce a children’s book I wrote, illustrated by a fantastic artist, Elizabeth Carrington. The title of the book is Touched by the Sun. Here the description on the back cover:

How lovely. Every child who experiences the natural world becomes aware with innate knowledge of all the beings - it is wonderful to have a storybook that echoes what they experience, if they are allowed to!
HI Charles- Same comment as below-seems we can't get it from Amazon for Canadian shoppers. I thought it would have made a nice Christmas gift for my grandsons this year. Maybe there is another way that you could point me towards to buy it? Kari
It seems adulthood has been a journey back to that authentic awe and wonder, the innocence of the inner/outer sun, reconnecting to the interrelationship of all beings... I was looking forward to ordering and reading "Touched by the Sun," but alas it is already out of stock via the link! How timely as we prepare to welcome the return of the light in the coming Winter Solstice. May we all return to the touch of the Sun in ourselves so that we might bring that forward in the world -- it is so needed for kids and adults alike. Deep bow to you Charles Eisenstein.

Not currently available on Amazon and I got and 'Error 502, Bad Gateway' when I clicked on the link in the Email from your substack account.
I just tried to order. At first it said it was available but after I tried to order Amazon now says it's not available. I'm in the US.
