I have great respect for the motives of RFK Jr. He has aligned himself with Trump. I believe he is seeking what is best for the country. Trump is aligned with Fascist dictators who actually support real totalitarianism / dictatorship such as Orban, Putin, etc. The Democrats are not doing this - not seeking to end elections or eliminate abortion rights. How have you people become so confused?
Thank you Daniel for pointing to this very obvious elephant in the room. Yes! How can anyone look past the fact that “Trump is aligned with Fascist dictators who actually support real totalitarianism / dictatorship such as Orban, Putin, etc.”
How? And why?
Trust dissolves when facts like these are omitted to make a point.
MarLS: there is a lot of Russian propaganda out there. Like, mountains of it. This started back in 2014 and then became aligned with the movement to elect Trump. Part of the fascist playbook is to make the public believe they cannot trust the MSM. Now, the MSM is corporate. They tend to not take on capitalism itself, but journalism has standards and most real journalists are serious about their work. Not so much the Far Right and MAGA propaganda/apologists at this time--that includes YouTube videos, thousands of social media accounts, Fox, Newsmax and now Russell Brand and apparently, Eisenstein (wittingly or not)
I know!!! So weird that some people see liberals as totalitarian. My experience has been the opposite. The more liberal folks (not all, obviously) that I know are all aware of the need for us all to have a day in how the government is run. It is complicated and messy, absolutely. It is also true that some voices get oppressed as others get louder. But at least there is a WAY to be heard. I know no one on the left who thinks we ought to take voting rights away from certain people, or restrict people from organizing on their own behalf and saying what they feel and believe. There has to be some sort of random limit just for the sake of sanity, but that doesn’t mean that this is totalitarian government.
They don't read or follow current events (it's low-vibe) so their beliefs about politics are based almost entirely on branding and whatever algorithmic feed they're on.
He does. He regularly field's reporters questions --lots of them. He plans to stop the War in Ukraine, tighten the border, He gave a well received speech to some economic group in New York. Many are hopeful he will honor his agreement with RFKJr. Where have you been living? Why is the media constantly attacking him, rather than explaining his platform?
Yet trump himself has said he will be a “dictator” on day one and there will never be a need for another vote. His constant admiration for Putin and others is showing us who he wants to be.
You are reading into those comments what you want to see. I don't believe real dictators announce their intentions, though in Trump's case, media works hard to push that narrative.
He’s absolutely said he would do it. I am not reading anything into a comment. He has said it, but you could read even more into it when you notice that he just sent Covid tests to Putin when our country didn’t have access to them and our own healthcare workers didn’t either. He adored the dictator model. He’s a classic narcissist.

People are confused because they are being mislead by the corporate media. Many still believe what they read in newspapers or see in news broadcasts. Looks like you are one of them. And, yes, Dems are thwarting Democracy. https://elizabethnickson.substack.com/p/the-2024-cheat-and-whats-being-done
They have also politicized the justice system.

I think the same could be said about anyone voting for Biden or Kamala.
no it can't, sorry. Don't make false equivalencies.
And Kim Jong Un.

why wouldn't Trump be telling us exactly what he intends to do?
