I have paused all public speaking and events for the rest of this year, and most interviews too. I have made one exception though, because I couldn’t resist collaborating again with Dr. Zach Bush. We are jointly keynoting what I expect to be an epic1 event Oct. 4-6 in British Columbia called The New Human: Regeneration.
The event organizer is Dr. Kevin Preston, who recently had me on his podcast (Spotify, Youtube, Apple).
Let me tell you my highest hope for this gathering. Over the last few years, I’ve been to quite a few potent gatherings in which something wanted to happen that only partially happened. Many times, the container was too small and rigid to accommodate the energy that was attracted to come. The old paradigm of the “conference” cannot accommodate it; a festival, on the other hand, is too diffuse. I have a feeling that this gathering will be a milestone in the progression toward the gathering that wants to happen.
However close it comes to that, I am sure it will be something that lives inside those who participated long after the event concludes. We remind each other, at such gatherings, that we are not crazy. We strengthen the presence of a new story within us, so that we can better carry it forth. That is what I aspire to contribute to this gathering. Here is the website. Use the code CHARLES15 for a 15% discount.
Actually, the word “epic” as an adjective means something so memorable that people perform long poems in its memory. I can’t guarantee that will actually happen. It might be shorter poems, such as “That was frickin’ amazing, dude.”
Hi from Nice, France. I have to follow from afar…sadly, geography being what it is.
Whilst recognising that big events cost lots of money and time to organise, for many people, 600 bucks is so out of reach. This is not a complaint. It is what it is. I just really hope that this -and other like events -can really spill over and flood and infuse into the lives of those people who cannot barely dream of attending a weekend costing this amount of money. (Not taking into account the transport costs.)
I believe we need these people on board - at least those wanting and yearning for a transformative weekend too.
Wishing you all a deep and wonderful and time. Let it spill out everywhere ….🌸🦋❣️🤗🙋🏼♀️🌈✨
This sounds like such an amazing event. i reside in BC and that makes it even more significant to me. What makes me sad, really sad is that there are so many amazing events going on around the globe but there those of us who cannot afford to attend even though in our own lives we may have a great deal to offer to the world in other ways.
i want to add to my comment. i absolutely love and admire Charles Eisenstein and Zak Bush. For anyone who is not from BC and gets to go to this beautiful place with these two remarkable men, i am happy for you and trust that this event will fill you with a light that you will be sharing with the world wherever you go.
