Trump did not terrorize the Central Park 5. He took out a newspaper ad supporting the death penalty IF they were found guilty of an horrific crime that shocked many at the time. I also am not aware of his raping women. Hopefully you do not mean that woman claiming she was raped in a dressing room. Her story is full of holes. There is a problem at the border and children being separated from their parents is unfortunately a risk. Children are often not accompanied by their real parents. Trump is not targeting these people, he is/was trying to solve a problem. He also is not responsible for the plight of the Haitians. That situation needed to be brought to light, as it is a poignant example of what can and is happening in communities. You have demonized Trump, largely based on misrepresentations in the media. This is what Charles cautions against. Trump's rough manner is off- putting to many, but I believe he stands for good.
Do you mean that phony Jean Carrol case? That was outrageous and an excellent example of how the Dems have politicized the courts. That case was well past the statute of limitations and Dems in NY decided to pass a new law (specifically aimed at getting Trump) to allow old cases to be prosecuted. This one is so old, it is ridiculous to have any sense of justice being served. It was simply he said, she said. The jurors were duped. I am outraged that the justice system has been abused in this way.
Can you explain why you are a better judge of that case than the jury of twelve who heard and saw all the evidence? What is the basis for believing you have special insight?
I largely agree. I've intensely disliked Trump since his Apprentice days, but now I"m far more afraid of the Democrats. As for putting Haitians in danger, I don't buy it. More Democrat over dramatization to deflect from their own actions. As for being a "rapist", I'm not so sure about that either. Meanwhile, I've yet to hear even one Democrat express grief over the young girls and woman raped, brutalized and killed by the Democrats illegally allowed into our country in an effort to increase their likely voter pool. Despicable.
Illegal immigrants don’t vote. The US also relies on ongoing immigration to supplant our aging workforce. Also as Charles even notes, many migrants are fleeing conditions that were unleashed by our corporations, our fossil fuel use, our government’s actions over the last decades.
This is not educated nor based on fact. Family separation was a real policy, crafted by Stephen Miller. So was the Muslim ban, which also separated families and still affects people. The woman whose "story was full of holes" won her case against Trump with a jury of his peers, many of them wealthy New Yorkers, like Trump. He is also accused of raping a 13-year girl at Epstein's New York mansion. My girlfriend worked Miss Teen Universe and could not get him out of the dressing room. I am not kidding. My other girlfriend went to the Mar-a-Lago-Epstein party and said it was "gross." Her modeling agency had been hired to pay for models to be there. But if you want to believe he is good, no amount of info will change your mind. I've learned this despite everything Charles E. says.
Grab em by the .....he bragged about sexual assault. There are a number of women suggesting that he did very inapporpriate things including going into the dressing rooms at the beauty contests because he was privledged to do so. Its clear who he is if you really look ...there are mountains of evidence besides anything media is putting out. Read some of the books by credible journalists. Its not just money they were after but exposing 'a clear and present danger"
Standards were very different 50 years ago when the comment was. made in a private conversation. It's " locker room" talk. Not atypical of guys attitudes at the time. Same with waltzing into dressing rooms. Powerful men took advantage. JFK and Clinton are examples. I think we need to focus on more important issues -- like runaway immigration and impending globalist totalitarianism.
I find myself once again responding to you. . . it is both men AND women who engage in this kind of thinking that has kept women where we are. Second class citizens, still. Yes, much has changed. But until we all realize how participation in "locker room talk" contributes to the power structures that keep men on top, and how it contributes to rape culture, you have no standing here. I don't have enough room to school you in this. I will just say that rape is an extreme version of the paradigm. Men and women, (and this would be you), who make it okay to speak about women in that manner, are part of the problem, all along the line.
Please understand. I am not excusing Trump's behavior. Unfortunately, we are far down the road to totalitarianism. Everyone will be oppressed. Please consider reading this. Elizabeth Nickson is a much respected journalist:
There is much greater reason to fear totalitarian controls from the Right than the Left. Trump mega donor Larry Ellison wants to use Oracle and AI for a total surveillance system that will keep “citizens on their best behavior.” Sounds like China. Plus Project 25 wants total abortion ban - totalitarian control over women’s bodies. CNN has a hidden camera interview with Russell Voight, author of Project 25, saying Trump is just pretending not to know about it. So obvious. When a country voluntarily elects a dictator they are screwed for decades. Franco was 35 years. Everything stagnates and people fear for their lives.
Exactly. Trump is actually trying to tackle Americas problems (the economy, illegal immigration, endless wars) while the Democrats/Uniparty keep adding more.
I’m just calling it like I see it. He’s been consistent with his message the entire time, and is turning out to be correct about a lot of things, but most choose to not believe him based on their current biases.
He was found guilty of sexual assault by a jury of his peers. He shoved his fingers in a women's vagina uninvited. Just like he boasted he did on the audio we have all heard.

You "don't buy it". There have been bomb threats and school closures to protect children's safety.

This rings false to me. He is not trying to solve problems at ALL he is saying he will to get people to vote for him.
I’m just calling it like I see it. He’s been consistent with his message the entire time, and is turning out to be correct about a lot of things, but most choose to not believe him based on their current biases.
You’re right. He was never convicted of rape.
